W.I.P. SpA ha ottenuto la certificazione di compostabilità per il pannolino usa&getta Ecowip. Per la prima volta a livello Europeo esiste un pannolino 100% biodegradabile e compostabile, non rinunciando all’efficienza e al comfort.
La certificazione è stata rilasciata dal Consorzio Italiano Compostatori (C.I.C.), una struttura che collabora con gli Enti pubblici per promuovere e perseguire la politica di riduzione dei rifiuti, l’attuazione della raccolta differenziata con particolare attenzione alla separazione, lavorazione, riciclaggio e valorizzazione delle frazioni organiche compostabili.Consapevoli del fatto che gli uomini producono decine di milioni di tonnellate di scarti non recuperabili, la missione di WIP era riuscire a dimostrare che è possibile avviare un ciclo virtuoso che porti alla sostituzione delle plastiche sintetiche non biodegradabili e non sostenibili per il futuro del Pianeta, con prodotti migliori che possano essere trasformati in rifiuti biodegradabili ottenuti da risorse rinnovabili, che si prendano cura sia dell’ambiente sia della salute degli stessi consumatori.
